It also adds a comedic aspect because the fairies are very intrigued by the bikes having never seen 1 before. The scenery was beauti respectabley do. It was refreshing to see a film that wasnt all special effects. Costume and makeup design were very effective, in fact that was what made the movie for me. The fairies were ravishing with their dewey scanty and radiant flowing clothing. The mortals also had very well through costuming that was true to the period, very romantic.
